Our history begins in 1932, alongside the Minnesota River. Founded in Mankato, Minnesota, by a visionary named George Peterson, the company was originally named The Creative Educational Society. We produced maps for teachers and students, offered chalk game sets called Pla-Boards, and issued a set of rubber stamps called the Creative Pictured Printer. In the 1960s, George Peterson Jr. joined his father and started publishing books under the newly named Creative Education, Inc. Under third-generation owner Tom Peterson, we have grown across the publishing world as The Creative Company. From this international success was born a new fulfillment business in 1987 called Creative Fulfillment Services. The business has now grown to provide third-party logistics services to businesses beyond publishing, offering quality solutions for all fulfillment needs. Today, we are ever-growing, ever-expanding, and now under the leadership of a fourth generation, Samantha Peterson.
